Unexpected flavour combinations from Catalonia – even at the age of eight, the talented Torres twins knew they wanted to become great chefs. To achieve this goal, they first had to go their separate ways: for many years, they earned their stripes in the best restaurants in the world, quite independently of each other; however, they remained in touch during this period and made plans to join forces and create a project of their own. They started in 2007 with Eñe in São Paulo, moving to Rio de Janeiro in 2019, before opening Dos Cielos in their home town of Barcelona in 2008. After years of hard graft, as well as several restaurants and Michelin stars, they became stars of the Catalan and Spanish food scene and brought Dos Cielos to Madrid in 2016. TV appearances, live cooking shows, menus for the Spanish railways and several cookbooks followed. Today, you will find them at the Hermanos Torres Cocina in Barcelona – a restaurant that embodies all their dreams: an open, educational and cultural kitchen that makes the guest the protagonist of their own experience.
