Christian Gentemann from Berlin is bringing a number of mixology secrets with him to Zurich. The qualified bartender has been pursuing his passion since mixing his first cocktail at the age of 17. He gained experience working at 3Freunde Bar in Hamburg, Waldorf Astoria Berlin, Drayton Bar and the Lebensstern bar in Café Einstein, as well as on an AIDA cruise ship. Since the opening of Bar am Steinplatz in Berlin in 2014, the 33-year-old bartender has introduced some unique and at times radical concepts, such as removing gin from the menu and replacing it with Doppelwacholder (a type of German gin), or introducing a bar menu with 10 clear, colourless drinks.
