In his role as Chef Fine Dining, Heiko Nieder’s unmistakable style has been shaping the most highly decorated restaurant in Zurich – The Restaurant at the Dolder Grand, awarded 2 Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points – since the reopening of the Dolder Grand in 2008. At the same time, as Culinary Director, he sets the tone for the hotel’s entire culinary programme, from light outdoor dining at the blooms garden restaurant to the Japanese pop-up MIYU.
Heiko Nieder has been pursuing a clear vision with THE EPICURE since its founding in 2014. He not only invites top chefs but also showcases individuals whose culinary styles would be all but impossible to encounter in Zurich otherwise. This results in inspiring and unique four-hands dinners, as well as a finale that brings together the taste of the world in a single place. A place for culinary excellence, creativity, and diversity.
