Heiko Nieder lives, breathes and loves true hospitality and diversity. This is particularly evident in his The Restaurant, which proudly boasts 19 GaultMillau points and two Michelin stars. Since 2008, Heiko Nieder has been delighting guests in Zurich’s most highly decorated restaurant with his unique and distinctive signature – as Chef Fine Dining. Heiko Nieder is also the Culinary Director at the Dolder Grand, where he is responsible for the overall food concept at the hotel. He is constantly expanding the culinary offering at the five-star hotel, most recently with the blooms garden restaurant. Or he is busy promoting culinary diversity with changing restaurant concepts. In his role as Culinary Director, he has also made a significant contribution to the hotel’s latest success – being named “Hotel of the Year 2024” by GaultMillau. He will also be taking on the role of host at the gourmet festival THE EPICURE, which is now heading into its ninth year. Heiko Nieder has invited gourmet elites from around the world, who will be offering guests at the Dolder Grand a vast array of different cuisines within a very short space of time. Heiko Nieder’s latest restaurant blooms will kick off its second season in April 2024 – serving seasonal, regional, vegetarian and vegan dishes, this garden restaurant creates a light and naturally refined outdoor dining experience on the forest side of the hotel.
